I think that almost all active Internet surfers are annoyed with the problem of pop-up advertisements. Pop-up ads became a reason of serious time wasting. PopUpCop is a tiny utility that was developed for blocking pop-up ads. After installing the program there appears a special panel in your Internet Explorer toolbar. A single mouse click on this panel will open a menu with plenty of useful tools. The main advantage of PopUpCop is the possibility of full customizing. For example, you can choose what type of web sites content you want to block: ActiveX Controls, Java Scripts and others. This application will never block something that you actually need. It monitors all users’ actions and creates simple system of blocking rules. The program is light-weight and doesn’t need a lot of space on your hard drive. It also includes a great FAQ section where you can find all required information about it. By the way PopUpCop is an absolutely free application. It perfectly suits both advanced computer users and people who don’t have a lot of experience. |
